Working Hours: 9.00 a.m. - 6.00 p.m.
About the Role
Galaxy Tech Solutions (KL) Sdn Bhd is a leading sustainability consultancy dedicated to delivering innovative environmental and sustainability solutions. Our multidisciplinary team integrates consulting expertise with R&D capabilities to support governments, industries, and organizations in achieving their ESG objectives. As a Junior Sustainability Consultant, you will support the delivery of sustainability projects across various domains including ESG reporting, carbon management, environmental compliance, and performance improvement initiatives. This role offers hands-on exposure and structured learning opportunities within a dynamic consulting environment. This role is suited for individuals who are interested in combining analytical thinking with client engagement, and who are keen to develop a strong foundation in sustainability consulting.
Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution:
-
Support planning, coordination, and tracking of sustainability projects and deliverables

Assist in managing timelines, documentation, and internal follow-ups to ensure project progress

Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to support project execution.

Advisory & Technical Support:

Assist in developing sustainability strategies and ESG-related deliverables
-
Support preparation of technical reports, proposals, and client documentation

Contribute to sustainability assessments and project outputs

Research & Analysis:

Conduct research on ESG frameworks, sustainability trends, and regulatory requirements
-
Analyse data and support development of insights and recommendations
-
Assist in benchmarking and comparative analysis for client engagements

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Support preparation of presentation materials and meeting documentation
-
Participate in client discussions, workshops, and project updates where required
-
Maintain communication and coordination with stakeholders to ensure alignment

Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
-
Strong organisational and coordination skills
-
Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret technical and environmental data.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
-
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in team settings.
-
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks or site assignments.
Preferred Skills
-
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks such as GRI, TCFD, ISSB, ISO 14064, or related standards.

Basic understanding of energy audits, ISO 50001 energy management systems, or energy efficiency concepts.

Knowledge of environmental regulations, ESG principles, and sustainability reporting requirements.

Proficiency in office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and basic analytical software.

Prior internship or project exposure in sustainability, engineering, or energy management is an advantage.
