Working Hours: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
About the Role
Galaxy Tech Solutions (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Junior Assessment Consultant to support the evaluation and validation of systems and technologies in water and wastewater treatment projects. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to ensure compliance with performance standards, guidelines, and innovative practices.
Key Responsibilities

Evaluation and Validation:

Assist in the evaluation of innovative water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring adherence to performance standards and operational guidelines.

Support the preparation of validation proposals and detailed assessments for pilot projects.

Conduct on-site performance monitoring and collect data to ensure compliance with project objectives.

Research and Analysis:

Research innovative solutions and sustainability practices in water and wastewater treatment.

Analyze system performance data, including treatment efficiency, operational costs, and environmental impact.

Compare new systems against existing technologies to provide comprehensive assessments.

Project Coordination and Reporting:

Collaborate with suppliers, operators, and regulatory bodies to gather the necessary documentation and approvals for assessments.

Prepare detailed technical reports, including validation findings and recommendations for system improvement.

Contribute to progress updates and final reports for pilot project evaluations.

Compliance and Advisory:

Stay updated with relevant national and international water and wastewater standards.

Provide advisory support on compliance with guidelines and recommend best practices for performance improvement.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Water Resource Management, or a related field.

Strong understanding of water and sewage treatment technologies and processes.

Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret technical data and reports.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay, including report writing.

Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation tools).

High attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills
-
Familiarity with performance validation procedures and pilot project assessments.

Knowledge of water quality standards and wastewater treatment regulations.

Experience with sustainability frameworks or green technology evaluations.

Prior internship or work experience in water or wastewater management projects is an advantage
