About the Role
Galaxy Tech Solutions (KL) Sdn Bhd is seeking a highly motivated and passionate Junior Sustainability Consultant to support the delivery of innovative sustainability and environmental projects. This role is ideal for individuals at the beginning of their careers who are eager to contribute to impactful sustainability initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities

Sustainability Strategy and Implementation:

Support the development and execution of sustainability strategies for clients and internal projects.

Assist in identifying opportunities to improve environmental performance and resource efficiency.

Research and Analysis:

Conduct research on sustainability-related topics and perform data analysis to inform strategies and initiatives.

Evaluate environmental performance metrics and provide actionable recommendations to clients.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and other stakeholders to implement sustainability initiatives effectively.

Assist in coordinating and facilitating discussions or workshops with stakeholders.

Monitoring and Reporting:

Track sustainability goals and milestones for projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports, ensuring compliance with global frameworks (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ISSB).

Knowledge and Best Practices:

Stay updated on sustainability trends, regulations, and best practices to provide relevant insights to the team and clients.

Share knowledge and insights to enhance project delivery and team performance.

Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical and research skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Effective verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay, with the ability to produce professional reports and presentations.

Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment and adapt to a fast-paced work setting.

High level of initiative, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude.
Qualifications:
Preferred Skills
-
Familiarity with sustainability frameworks, such as GRI, TCFD, and ISSB, or relevant certifications.

Basic understanding of environmental regulations, standards, and ESG principles.

Proficiency in standard office tools (e.g., word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software).

Prior internship or project experience in sustainability is a plus but not mandatory.
